The project was designed by Architectural Innovations for the Penn Hills School District. The structure is approximately 300,000 sq./ft. and sits on a 56 acre campus. This presentation was completed on time with an extremely tight time-frame for buildings groundbreaking ceremony. All modeling was completed using Sketchup, rendered and enhanced using Lumion, and post-production using Powerdirector.
All modeling completed in Sketchup years prior to Lumion being released. I converted the file and textured the model as a test of the softwares potential.
This short video shows the ability to create working design models utilizing Sketchup and Lumion. The majority of this videos time was spent in Sketchup creating the mass model. Adding materials, camera position, and lighting was not as intensive as typical final production videos.
This video shows the ability to turn a simple metal building structure modeled in Sketchup, and rendered in Lumion into a presentation quality short video.
